Just keep pretending it’s not happening

For whatever reason, they don’t want it to be happening. They certainly don’t want you to notice that it’s happening, and if you do notice they don’t want to say anything that would (further) confirm your judgement.

So they change the reporting of reality so that it looks as though it’s not happening.

This will only change when we, as a society, punish these people for their dangerous delusions.

Unfortunately, broad swathes of the electorate want to go on living in this world of make-believe.
